Ogun fastracks issuance of C-of-O for house ownership scheme

Ogun State Government says it has improved the system of issuing the Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) to the beneficiaries of its home owners charter programme.

Director General of Bureau of the State Lands and Survey, Biyi Ismail speaking to Rockcity FM, shortly after  the 13th edition of the C-of-O distribution  to another batch of 1, 000 beneficiaries,  said the process of collection has been fast-tracked  after streamlining the processing of various documents of applicants.

Ismail also said more staff had been deployed to handle the processing of the documents to ensure the distribution of the C-of-O monthly.

In his address, the Commissioner of Urban and Physical Planning Bashorun Adebola Adeife said the programme has eliminated the land ownership disputes and property related frauds in the state.
