Ogun State government is set to distribute 3.3 million long lasting insecticides treated net across the state.
The exercise, according to the state government is targeted at reducing malaria across the state.
State health commissioner, Doctor Babatunde Ipaye who made this known in an interview with Rockcity FM in Abeokuta, said the distribution exercise will start in the middle of March till the end of the month.
Ipaye explained that every household is being targeted with at least one long lasting insecticides treated net per two persons.
The state distributed 1,500 treated nets in 2017, and 2.6 million in 2014.
The commissioner also said that the mass vaccination against measles will come up between March 1 and 13.
