Ogun State House of Assembly is to begin consideration of the state 2020 appropriation bill next week, thursday.
Governor Dapo Abiodun last Tuesday, had presented a n449.9 billion budget bill before the assembly for consideration and passage.
the budgetary estimates, include capital votes of n269.13billion and recurrent expenditure of n180.84billion.
The assembly speaker, Olakunle Oluomo who announced the date for the bill consideration, during plenary on Thursday, asks members to be prepared for a debate on the budget proposal when they resume on Thursday, next week.
Oluomo also asks the state’s ministries, departments and agencies to be ready to defend their budgetary allocations from December 16 at the assembly committee room.
He orders them to submit 35 copies each of their documents on or before next week, Friday, December 13 to the relevant house standing committees, ahead of the budget defense exercise.
