Obasanjo Urges Egba Monarchs To End Age long Rivalry

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged monarchs in Egbaland, to stop their age long bickering and rivalry, to facilitate further development of Ogun Central Zone.

He also asks the Obas to avoid any plots capable of dividing them.

Obasanjo, giving the advise in Abeokuta, at the coronation of the new Agura of Gbaguraland, Oba Saburee Bakre, told the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, not to listen to bad advices on the new monarch.

Obasanjo asks Oba Gbadebo to ensure that monarchs in the Ogun Central are united for a common agenda on Egbaland.

The Former President told the Alake who was present at the coronation, that his speech when he first ascended the throne was encouraging, adding that the monarch later listened to bad advises.

All Obas in Egbaland, according to Obasanjo must support Dapo Abiodun administration for the socio-ecnomic development of Egbaland and Ogun State.

Congratulating the new Agura of Gbaguraland, Obasanjo urges him not to reopen the old issues with the Alake of Egbaland and other Obas.
