NYSC worried over relocation of youth corpers from North

NYSC to post Corps members to farms

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has expressed concern over the high rate of application by corps members seeking relocation from states in the north.

The agency’s director general, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazure, worried about the development, said that more than 50 per cent of youth corps members posted to the north are seeking relocation to the southern parts of the country.

Kazure addressing the 2016 batch B stream two of the corps in Paiko, Niger state, asked youth corps members to give the north, which according to him is no longer volatile, a chance.

He advises youth corps members serving in the north to meet the state and local coordinators of the scheme if they face any challenge in the places of posting.
