National universities commission (NUC) has said that Nigeria is not ripe for a full e-learning in its universities
The commission says those advocating its introduction now, are either ignorant or mischievous
Deputy executive director of the commission in-charge of academics, Doctor Suleiman Rahmon-Yusuff, speaking to newsmen in Abuja, lists the challenges facing the introduction of 100 per cent e-learning are internet, infrastructure and electricity
He says that Nigeria needs to articulate the requirement of e-learning in term of infrastructure, material and men According to him, e-learning must pass an integrity before it could be introduced in Nigeria by accounting for every student targeted in every institution involved
