Ifeanyi Ubah FC has compounded the relegation battle of Remo Stars following a goalless draw in a week 28 rescheduled match in the Nigeria Professional Football League played at the Dina Dipo International Stadium, Sagamu on Tuesday, July 11.
The first half ended scoreless, despite the Remo Stars dominance in the first half of the game.
Remo’s dominance continued in the second half before Obaje got the first goal in the game in the 80th minute for Ifeanyi Ubah when he nodded in a header beyond Remo Stars goalkeeper Chizoba Ndukwe.
Remo Stars restored parity few minutes to the end of the game as Mbaoma’s free kick went past FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s wall into the net.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah are now tied on 42 points with Lobi Stars in sixth place, leaving Remo Stars in relegation waters.
