Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has said he will not speak on the situation in the country for now.
He said this is not the right time to speak on the issue, with the serious challenges that Nigeria is going through.
Jonathan speaking as a special guest of honour at the presentation of staff to the new Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, Oboro Gbaraun Aketekpe, stated that Nigeria is a nation of resilient people.
He further reiterated his believe that the present challenges facing the nation will soon be over.
The former president has been reluctant to comment on some of the corruption allegations against him, his aides, ministers and some of his party men.
The former President lauded the new Pere of Gbaramatu and urged the monarch to use his traditional stool to enthrone peace in the kingdom.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state at the occassion also congratulated the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom for the peaceful way of choosing their king while stating that, “It is time we realize that under a peaceful atmosphere, where everybody lives in peace, we can build a future of trust for our children.
