APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, says he is not ready to reply the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, over allegations leveled against him on the party’s disputed primaries for the Ondo State’s Governorship Poll.
Tinubu in a strongly worded statement on Sunday, had asked Oyegun to resign for allegedly manipulating the primaries, and engaging in anti-party activities that pose danger to democracy.
But Oyegun speaking on Monday, said he respects Tinubu as APC Leader, and would consult party leaders before a definite statement would be made on the allegation.
For the time being, the APC National Leader said the forthcoming Edo State governorship poll was his major concern, and may speak on the allegation after the poll, if it is necessary.
Oyegun, however, said most of the allegations leveled against him were not true, because he is ardent believer in internal democracy within a party.
