The new season of the Nigeria National League (NNL) is set to kick off on March 31.
The league board through its official twitter handle revealed the kick off date of the much awaited league season.
The Nigeria second tier league was earlier scheduled to commence on March 3, 2018, but suffered postponement due to logistic reasons.
The league is now scheduled to kick off on March 31, 2018 with the board also extending the registration date for clubs to March 23.
The forty clubs in the 2018 League have been abridged into four divisions of A1, A2, B1 and B2 with ten teams in each group.
The best two teams will qualify from the divisions to make a Super 8 that will contest in a neutral ground for tickets into the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The quartet of Kwara United, Heartland, Go Round FC and Katsina United secured promotion to the elite division last season while Shooting Stars, Gombe United ABS FC and Remo Stars dropped to the second tier. Please subscribe to our newsletter
