Nigeria labour congress (NLC) says workers on the ;payroll of the State Government must be paid a minimum of n50,000 and n15,000 hazard allowance monthly as from this month

The state NLC chairman, Funmi Sessi, made the fresh demand, while addressing workers during a march to the state house of assembly at Alausa, Ikeja

She explains that workers in Lagos deserve a separate minimum wage, because of the high cost of living in the state

According to the labour leader, the expenditure of an average worker on transport, house rent and other bills is far higher than their counterparts in Ogun State.
