Nine Nigerians are among the 44 African migrants killed in the airstrike on Immigrants Detention Centre in Tripoli, the Libyan Capital.
Executive Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, made this known in a statement issued in Abuja.
She confirms that the nine Nigerians are among Nigerian immigrants in the detention centres who had been profiled for repartriation back to Nigeria in coming days.
She condoles with the families of the nine immigrants on the incidents.
The detention centres were bombed in the ongoing fighting by Libyan warring factions for the control of the capital.
