Nigeria’s external reserve hits $40.3bn

Nigeria’s external reserve has risen to $40.33 billion.

The figure attained last Thursday, is the highest since January 2014 when the fund in the reserves was $40.66 billion.

The latest figure sourced from the website of the Central Bank of Nigeria rose from $38.7 billion last December 29.

Last week, CBN’s Governor, Godwin Emefiele projected that the reserve will hit $70 billion in 2019, if the momentum in the oil market is sustained.
