A Nigerian man serving time in an Indian prison has died in hospital, according to the times of India.
26 year old Kumbha Roderick was unconscious when he was taken to the prison hospital in the city of Mathura on Wednesday morning
The facility’s Chief Medical Officer says he died 35 minutes later.
It is not clear what caused his death.
Roderick had reportedly felt uneasy the day before, then vomited.
He had been in the prison for less than a year after his arrest for forging documents, as well as for the “forgery of valuable security” and “forgery for purpose of cheating”.
