Nigeria records death of first hajj pilgrim in Saudi Arabia

Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has invited all intending pilgrims for the 2018 hajj in Saudi Arabia, whose names are in the first batch of 286, to assemble today, in Abeokuta.

The 286 intending pilgrims, whose names are on the notice board, are asked to assemble at the Board’s Secretariat at Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, by 8am.

The intending pilgrims, according to the Board’s Executive Secretary, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Kalejaiye, will be further briefed on their movement to the hajj camp in Lagos.

The affected 286 intending pilgrims on the first batch list are expected to appear in their uniform, for proper recognition and identification.

The Board Executive Secretary said that it is very important for the affected intending pilgrims to be at the Thursday briefing, to enable them to collect all the necessary documents for their travelling.
