All Non Nigerian travellers arriving the country from the Uk and South Africa who tested positive for Covid 19, will not be returned to their point of embarkation
Several countries worldwide had already banned flights from South Africa and the UK following their new strain of the virus
Director General of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Musa Nuhu, in a circular to airlines operating in Nigeria, directs them to ensure that the passengers from UK and South Africa complied with Covid 19 protocols
Any of the airlines which bring into Nigeria passengers from the two countries who tested positive on arrival in Nigeria will return them to their points of embankments
Also, such airline will also pay a fine of $3,500 per a defaulting passenger Any repeat of non compliance by any airline will lead to the suspension of its approval and permit to fly into Nigeria
