President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has headed to FIFA Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
Africanfootball.com which reveal this could not ascertain whether Pinnick’s visit is connected with the forthcoming election to the FIFA council.
Pinnick has not been nominated to contest for the two seats reserved for Africa on the FIFA council.
The NFF have denied Pinnick sought nomination for the polls.
The elections into the FIFA council are slated for on September 29 and CAF have announced the seven candidates.
The candidates are Almamy Kabele Camara (Guinea); Suketu Patel (Sychelles); Kwesi Nyantakyi (Ghana); Ahmad (Madagascar); Augustin Senghor (Senegal); Hamidou Djibrilla (Niger) and Chabur Goc Alei (South Sudan).
