NDLEA Seizes 548,000 Tramadol Tablets In Anambra

548,000 tablets of Tramadol have been seized by operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Anambra state

The drug was seized in a warehouse located at Atunuya street in Maryland estate in Nkwelle of Oyo local government area

NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi in a statement says the owner of the warehouse, Okeke Chijioke, had allegedly acceted that he owned the warehouse

Babafemi says the suspect was arrested last July 10

The drug, according to NDLEA was rebranded as Tarkadol, labelled as 100 milligramme drug which later turned out to be a 225 milligramme drug after a laboratory test

The agency also says that a double barrel pump action gun and three live catridges were recovered during the operation
