NDLEA Intercepts Assorted Drugs Enroute To UK At Mmia

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has again intercepted assorted hard drugs being trafficked to the UK, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja in Lagos.

The drugs, including Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Heroin, were intercepted last Thursday during the outward clearance of Cargo at Nahco export shed at the airport.

 NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi said the intercepted drug included 20 parcels of Cocaine, weighing 1.2 kilogramme, and 39 parcels of Heroin, weighing 1.4 kilogramme.

Also seized were 39 parcels of Methamphetamine weighing 2.3 kilogramme.

Babafemi said all the intercepted drugs were concealed in the tablets of black soap packets A few days earlier, 7.3 kilogramme of Marijuana was concealed in tablets of black soap at the same export shed within the airport.
