NCC Moves To Regulates Internet Operations

National Communication Commission (NCC) has initiated moves to regulate the operation and use of internet in the country.

The agency says it had begun a process for the establishment of an internet industry code of practice for the internet service providers.

Deputy Director (Consumer Affairs Bureau), Alhaji Ismail Adedigba who made this known in Osogbo at the Consumer Outreach Programme, says the move aims at protecting Nigeria’s cyber space from the threat of cyber-attack.

The initiative, according to Adedigba, will protect children against dangerous online contents, ensure privacy and data protection.
