The more than five thousands graduates recruited from Ogun state, under the Buhari’s 500,000 jobs for graduates, have been deployed to various departments of the Ogun state government.

Five thousand and 72 out of the 5,779 graduates were deployed by the state government, after undergoing verification.

Special duties commissioner, Barrister Leke Adewolu who made this known to Rockcity Fm in Abeokuta, said the payment of salary to the verified graduates from the state, which commenced last Friday, is still ongoing.

He explained that the ministry consulted with the National Youth Service Corps, the National Orientation Agency and various ministries, departments and agencies in the state for the verification and deployment of the more than 5,000 graduates.

Adewolu asked some of the graduates who complained of being posted to places of residences to forward their complaints to his office for consideration.

He, however, explained that the deployment of the newly recruited graduates was based on the data provided by the graduates.
