On Wednesday, muslims in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, and some muslims in Bauchi state, celebrated Eid El Fitri, in defiance of the directive of the Nigeria supreme council on Islamic affairs
The Edi El Fitri prayers in Ibadan were held at the Ibadan Central Eid praying ground at Agodi The islamic council last Tuesday, had directed muslims in the country to mark end the Ramadan fast on Thursday, because the new moon was not sighted as expected on Tuesday.
