Military says it’s not concerned by Boko Haram swap offer

Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, says demands by a faction of Boko Haram in their latest video clip on the abducted Chibok School Girls, would not halt the ongoing military operation in the North East region.

Abubakar Shekau faction of the terrorist group in the new video clip, said it was ready to exchange the abducted chibok school girls still in its custody, with top commander of Boko Haram captured by security forces.

But the Chief of Defence Staff addressing the state house correspondents after a workshop organized at the presidential villa, for top security chiefs on how to respond to emergency situation, said military cannot respond to the demand.
