Military Distances Itself From Group Calling For Buhari Overthrow

Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has rejected demands in a circulation that the Buhari administration should be toppled.

The document also calls for an interim government to replace the Buhari elected government.

DHQ in a statement by its acting Spokeman, Navy Captain Muhammadu Wabi, says the Military is mindful of its constitutional responsibilities, and will always be loyal to President Buhari.

The Military asking Nigerians to ignore the document, while asking security agencies to track those behind the document

It accused a group calling itself ‘Nigeria Continuity and Progress’ which authored the document of attempting to derail Nigeria’s hard earned democracy.
