Militant’s attack: Nigeria’s Daily Oil output reduced by 200,000 Barrel

Nigeria’s Daily Crude oil production has gone down by 200,000 barrels, following last Wednesday’s militant attacks on trans Forcados export pipeline near warri, delta state.

The attack, coming up less than twenty hours after President Buhari and Niger Delta Leaders met in Abuja, reduces the oil production level put at 2.1 million barrels last weekend.

A local oil company, shoreline said it lost 35,000 barrel daily of crude, following the closure of the major pipeline after the attack.

But industry sources said export of Forcados Crude Continues at a reduced rate on the pipeline which resumed last October, following shutdown since last January‘s attack by militants.
