Mark raises alarm on crime rate in Benue

Former Senate President, David Mark, has raised an alarm over the rising cases of kidnapping, killing s and other criminality in Benue state.

Mark in a statement by his media aide, Paul Mumeh, asked the Acting Inspector General of Police and other security chiefs to intervene urgently before the situation got out of control.

The Senator who was saddened over the death of a Catholic Reverend Father, John Adeyi, whose body was found in the state two months after his abduction by kidnappers said the situation is becoming intolerable.

The State in the past months have been grappling with attacks by herdsmen which has left dozens of farmers dead.
