Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has bagged the “best participating institution in SIWES activities in 2018 training year” from the industrial training fund (ITF), Abeokuta area office, in recognition of its students participation in the students industrial work experience scheme (SIWES).
This is the second time Mapoly is receiving the award.
The award was presented to the polytechnic at this year’s ITF interactive forum in Abeokuta where the Ogun State deputy governor, Mrs Noimot Salako, presented a keynote address on “vocational skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development: a solution to secured and sustainable future”.
The award, according to the polytechnic’s ‘Yemi Ajibola, head, public relations & protocol, was later presented to the institution by the director of SIWES, Dr. (MRS.) Yetunde Lanre-Iyanda at the academic board meeting held Wednesday’s afternoon.
