Man Running Away From NDLEA Drowned In Dam

A man has drowned in a dam in Jigawa State, while fleeing from the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The man identified as Abubakar Lawan, fell into the dam at Saiskawa village in Kazaure Local Government Area during a raid by the anti-narcotic agency on the hideouts of drug traffickers in the village.

The man died in the pond, leading to attack on the NDLEA office which was set ablaze.

Spokesman of the State Police Command, Abdul Jinjiri says that one of the NDLEA operatives was also injured in the attack.
