Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has asked the state’s main opposition party, APC, seeking to unseat him, to wait till 2023.
The governor speaking at the flag off of the 65 kilometres n9.9 billion Moniya-Iseyin Road project, says he will wait to face APC in 2023.
Makinde however says that, the electorate had rejected APC for poor performance while in power.
The Governor accuses the past administration of sharing with contractors the fund paid by the state government for the execution of the road project.
He alleged that the project fund was spent by the past administration for campaigning during the last polls.
