The League Management Company has imposed a fine of N3.5 million on Ikorodu United for various allegations leading to the abandonment of their week 30 encounter against shooting stars.
The game was called off following the unruly behaviour of hosts’ fans who threw objects on the field of play after Ajani Ibrahim’s equalizer for the Ibadan based team.
The Oga Boys have been fined N750,000 for failing to provide adequate crowd control measure, during and after the league game and another N750,000 for failing to restrict unauthorized persons from restricted areas during the game against Oluyole Warriors.
Also, the next three games of the club will be played at the M.K.O. Abiola stadium, Abeokuta starting with Matchday 32 against Niger Tornadoes on 21st August.
