Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) says the current open price market of petrol as at last November 15 is n163.68 per litre
The agency made this known in its petroleum products pricing template released on its website, on Monday
According to the template, the n163.68 is n18.68 higher than the official price of n145 price the product is being sold at the filling stations.
According to the template, the landing cost of petrol at Nigerian port is n147.95 per litre, while total distribution margins of n19.37 per litre brings the total cost of the petrol to n163.68 per litre.
The cost of the petrol n141.54 per litre, the lightering expenses (n2.75) while Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), charges stood at 84 kobo per litre respectively.
Other charges are the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) charges (22 kobo per litre, the jetty throughout charge (60 kobo per litre and storage charge n2 per litre..
