Lagos State government has resumed the sale of its branded Lake Rice, ahead of the Eid-El Fitri festival.
The state agriculture commissioner, Olanrewaju Suarau, who announced this said the sale of the rice will begin today at approved outlets.
The price of the rice, according to him remains N12,000 for a 50 kilogramme bag, N6,000 for a 25 kilogramme bag and N2,500 for a 10 kilogramme bag.
The approved retail outlets, according to the commissioner, include state Universal Basic Education Board headquarters at Magodo, Government Technical College, Lagos State Agriculture input supply authority at Oojo, Ajah and Odogiyan, near Ikorodu.
Others are headquarters of the state’s 57 local governments and local council development areas, LTV 8 Complex at Agidingbi, agriculture development area complex at Oko Oba, Idimu and Eko Farmers Mart in Surulere.
