Street traders, commercial drivers and squatters have been ordered to vacate the outer marina in Lagos metropolis.
Lagos state government says this is to pave the way for the beautification and landscaping of the outer marina.
Environment and water resources commissioner, Tunji Bello, said that task force on environment and special offences will start enforcing the directive the directive as from this week.
Bello asked them to move to the designated motor parks, while pedestrians should use overhead bridges in the area.
The commissioner said that the task force would later move to Victoria Island and Ikoyi, also in the metropolis.
