Former President Goodluck Jonathan

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to resist pressure, to influence the outcome of the July 14 governorship poll, in Ekiti State.

Jonathan, who made the appeal, at the inauguration of a flyover bridge in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, said such restrain should be extended to the subsequent polls in the country.

The Former President said, there is always so much pressure on the incumbent president, to use the enormous powers at his disposal to subjugate democracy.

Jonathan, however urges Buhari not to do that, in order to strengthen democracy and leave a good legacy.
