Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) says tertiary educational institutions have begun admission of students for the 2019/2020 academic session.
Public universities, according to JAMB, began admitting their first choice admission last August 21, to end on November 15.
JAMB Spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, who made this known, says private universities had also began admitting their first choice candidates, as from August 21, and will end on February 15, 2020.
He adds that public universities will begin admitting second choice candidates as from November 17 and end on December 17.
JAMB spokesman says they expect more candidates to be admitted by the universities for the next academic session, unlike during the ongoing 2018/2019 session, when over 500,000 spaces were not filled by the tertiary institutions.
