JAMB releases UTME results, withholds 112,000 for alleged malpractices

JAMB arrests 25 persons for extortion, sale of UTME materials

Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said it has released the results of 1, 503, 978 candidates, who wrote the 2018 edition of the Unified Matriculation Examination (UTME).

An estimated 1, 652, 825 candidates registered for the examination, which ended last Friday.

JAMB spokesman, Doctor Fabian Benjamin, who made this known, said the results of 112,331 candidates are yet to be released, including those of 350 blind candidates.

The results of 111,981 candidates, according to Benjamin, are being withheld for further screening.
