Independent Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has warned that its members may stop lifting products, over unpaid petroleum equalization fund.
The marketers ask private oil depots to clear the arrears of the fund immediately.
The Association Chairman in the northwest region, Basir Dan-Mallam, addressing newsmen in Kano, says the unpaid fund is affecting the capacity of independent marketers to continue lifting products from depots.
Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has earlier warned private depot owners to quickly clear the fund arrears, or they will not receive product allocation.
