The Intellectual Property forum 2021 will begin in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Friday, August 20.
The programme, scheduled to end on Saturday, August 21, will hold at Continental Suites, Abeokuta.
The forum is designed to serve as a platform for key stakeholders to review issues bordering on intellectual property in Nigeria.
The theme for this year’s edition is: “Strengthening Intellectual Property Rights Protection and Enforcement in Nigeria”.
The key stakeholders invited to the forum, include government officials, legislators, agencies and parastatals, intellectual property lawyers, CEOs and captain of industries.
Others are top executives of broadcasting organizations, indigenous and multinational companies, SMES, and MSMES, as well as, creative and entertainment industries, academics, scientists and innovators.
Speakers and facilitators to deliver lectures at the forum, include the Director General/CEO of small and medium enterprises development agency of Nigeria, Doctor Dikko Umaru Radda; and President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Nigeria, and Partner Jackson, Etti & Edu, Barrister Obafemi Agaba.
Others are the Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Trade, Industry and Investment, Ms. Sola Arobieke, and other top IP specialists, lawyers and government officials.
