Deputy Imo State Governor, Eze Maduemere, has cried out over the stripping of his office of security personnel and operational staff.
The Deputy Governor who had been at loggerheads with Governor Rochas Okorocha over his governorship ambition, said the security officers and staff were withdrawn since a federal high court revoked his impeachment by the state house of assembly.
Maduemere speaking to newsmen in Owerri, said the withdrawal had been exposing him to dangers.
He explained that 12 staff withdrawn, include eight operational staff and four administrative staff.
The Deputy Governor was impeached by the assembly, following his opposition to moves by the governor to position his son-on-law, Uche Nwosu as the state’s new Governor.
