Imo Demolishes Kidnappers Homes

Several houses owned by suspected kidnappers and other major criminals in Imo State, have been demolished by the state government in a fresh move to reduce the rate of crimes in the state.

The state deputy governor, eze madumere, accompanied by the State Police Commissioner, Taiwo Lakanu, and Commander of the Army 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze, Brigadier General Kay Isiyaku, supervised the demolition of the buildings.

The houses, numbering ten, were located in Ohuba in the Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Areas regarded as the base of kidnapping gangs in the state.

The Deputy Governor said the State Government would no longer allow criminal elements to enjoy their loot in the state.
