Political temperature in Imo State is rising further as the State Government orders the arrest of Former Governor Rochas Okorocha.
Okorocha was accused by the State Government of sponsoring attack on the Chairman of the Recovery of Government Properties, Jasper Ndubuoku.
Secretary to the State Government, Uche Onyeaguocha, addressing a news conference in Owerri, also asks all Imo State indigenes to effect his arrest wherever he is found in the state.
Ndubuoku speaking at the news conference alleges that he was assaulted by hoodlums when he led his team to Okorocha’s residence to recover government properties.
He alleges that government items still in the building, include 20 vehicles, four speedboats and a generator.
Last Wednesday, traditional rulers in the state backed moves by Governor Emeka Ihedioha to investigate the Okorocha administration and recover government properties still in possession of political office holders who serve in it.
