House of Representatives has changed the order of the 2019 general polls.
Instead of the schedule of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the presidential poll will hold last, instead of being the first to be conducted.
Under the new arrangement in the amendment to the Electoral Act 2010 approved by the House, the first election to be conducted will be into the Senate and House of Representatives.
It will be followed by election into the governorship and the state Houses of Assembly, while the presidential poll will come last.
