House of Reps invites Buhari over ongoing killings in Benue

House of Representatives has invited President Muhammadu Buhari, on the killings by suspected herdsmen in Benue, especially the Tuesday’s attack on a Catholic Church.

The lawmakers summoned the President, following a motion raised by Mark Gbulah, on the recent attacks and killings in Benue State.

They also passed a vote of no confidence on service chiefs, calling for their immediate removal and replacement.

Also, the lawmakers resolved to shut down the National Assembly for three legislative days in solidarity with victims of attacks in Taraba, Benue and other states.
