Herdsmen ask Buhari to order police to arrest killers of Fulani in Taraba

Three policemen killed, 2 missing in herdsmen attack in Adamawa

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to order security agencies to fish out the killers of Fulani herdsmen in parts of the North.

The association said that Fulani herdsmen have been victims of tribal killings in the North for decades.

The association’s national secretary, Baba Ngeijama, said their demand follows assurance by President Buhari that those behind Benue killings, be it herdsmen, will be rounded up and prosecuted.

He asked Buhari to extend the arrest to those who killed Fulanis in Mambilla Plateau in June 2016, and Numan last November.

Ngeijama said the association has a list of names and places where Fulani were killed in recent time.
