Ondo state Amotekun Corps says herders have started relocating from the state’s forest reserves
Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, who made this known, says 37 herders and 5,000 cows had been arrested in the past two weeks for refusing to leave
Others, according to him, had opted to leave the state for neighbouring states of Osun, Ekiti and Oyo, and had been escorted along with their stock of livestock to the state’s boundaries
He says that Amotekun corps operatives are still in the forest reserves to enforce the directive of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu that they should leave the forest reserves
