Gunmen invade EFCC chairman’s farm house in Abuja, kill police guard

Gunmen have again attacked the home of acting chairman of the Economic And financial Crimes Commission (Efcc), Ibrahim Magu, in Abuja.

One of the policemen on guard duty, a sergeant, at the house at Karshi, was shot dead during an exchange of gunfire with the gunmen.

Spokesman of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, confirming the attack, says the home is the farmhouse of Magu.

The gunmen, according to him invaded the home at 10 pm on Tuesday.

The attack, according to Uwujaren, was the second on the farm house.

The motive behind the latest attack is however said to be hazy as the attackers also carted away five cattle and some sheep that were being reared in the compound.
