Gunmen Abduct Expatriates At Construction Site

Gunmen in army uniforms have abducted two expatriates and a Nigerian staff of a construction firm in the Shiroro local government area of Niger state.

They were abducted from a road project site in Galadinma Kogo village along Shiroro-Galadinma Road.

The state police commissioner, Adamu Usman, says the gunmen who arrived from Kaduna State on 20 motorcycles attacked workers at the construction site on Monday.

He says that police had launched a manhunt for the gunmen and their captive with the IGP intelligence response squad, special tactical squad, as well as anti-kidnap squad.
