The Nigeria Governors Forum is considering accessing a $3.28 billion dollars grant facility from the World Bank.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the forum held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja with the country director of the World Bank, Rachid Ben Messaoud, in attendance.
The forum Chairman, Abdulaziz Yari addressing the state house correspondents after the meeting, said the facility for the 2o16 is for the state governments and has been lying untouched.
He said the bank’s country director briefed them on the facility, and how to access it.
The forum chairman said they will endeavor to see how they could meet the conditionality including the counterpart funding to access the facility.
