Go To Supreme Court, PDP Governors Tells Atiku. PDP state governors have asked the part and its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to challenge the verdict of the Presidential Poll Petitions Tribunal on the disputed February 23 poll, at the supreme court.
The tribunal in its ruling upheld the election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the poll.
PDP Governors Forum in a statement by its Chairman, Seriake Dickson, says that posterity will not forgive them if Atiku and PDP are abandoned in the litigation.
The governors fault the verdict of the tribunal, say it is full of loopholes which must be challenged at the supreme court.
Meanwhile, members of PDP board of trustees are meeting Atiku in Dubai, to discuss issues in the party.
BOT Chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin,says the meeting will focus largely on reconciliation within the party.
After a meeting with Atiku in Dubai, the board will hold another meeting on Thursday on several critical issues.
