Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has arrived in Kano state with his new foreign goalkeeper trainer, Enrico Pionetti.
Rorh arrived Kano on Monday night with the Italian goalkeeper trainer to supervise the Super Eagles B team preparation for the CHAN qualifiers against Benin Republic later this month.
With the goalkeeping situation, the coach got approval from the Nigeria Football Federation to bring in a foreign goalkeeper trainer that would train the home-based goalkeepers ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon in September.
Pionetti, born on April 5, 1955 is a former Italian goalkeeper who played for Sampdoria.
As a coach, he was the goalkeeper trainer with Nice helping them to promotion to Ligue 1 in 2005. He also worked at FC Bologna Calcio and AC Ajaccio.
The Italian has also worked with Rohr in Burkina Faso.
